MUSTANG ENGINEERING – Fire protection and safety lead on the Tubular Bells - Topsides (BP/HESS) offshore platform project (FEED). Responsibilities included the execution and review of all fire protection engineering deliverables such as firewater distribution and deluge system (layout and hydraulics), firewater pumps, layout of fire-fighting and life saving equipment, egress analysis, fire & gas detection and notification system layout, and safety studies such as Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA), dropped object study, turbine gas dispersion modelling, fire & explosion analysis (FEA), and HAZOP. In addition, Orcus Fire & Risk, Inc. developed all fire fighting equipment and life saving appliance data sheets and specifications, along with supporting with vendor requisition packages.
KELLOGG BROWN & ROOT (KBR) – Fire protection engineering and consulting company on the Big Foot – Topsides (Chevron) offshore platform project (Detailed Engineering) responsible for code consulting, water based fire protection systems specification and design (distribution system, hose reels, and deluge systems), special hazard systems specification and design review, fire & gas detection and notification systems specification, design and layout, fire-fighting equipment and life saving appliances specification and layout, egress system design, passive fire protection systems specification and design, and review of safety studies such as fire & explosion analysis (FEA) and escape, evacuation and rescue analysis (EERA).
KELLOGG BROWN & ROOT (KBR) - Fire protection engineering and consulting company on the Jack & St. Malo – Hull (Chevron) offshore platform project (Detailed Engineering) responsible for water based fire protection systems specification and design (distribution system, hose reels, and deluge systems), special hazard systems specification and design, fire & gas detection and notification systems specification, design and layout, and fire-fighting equipment and life saving appliances specification and layout.
ALLIANCE WOOD GROUP ENGINEERING, L.P. – Fire protection engineering and consulting company on the South Nemba Auxiliary – Topsides (Chevron) offshore platform project (Detailed Engineering) responsible for code consulting, water based fire protection systems specification and design (distribution system, hose reels, and deluge systems), special hazard systems specification and design review, fire & gas detection and notification systems specification, design and layout, fire-fighting equipment and life saving appliances specification and layout, egress system design, passive fire protection systems specification and design, and review of safety studies such as fire & explosion analysis (FEA) and escape, evacuation and rescue analysis (EERA).
HYDRO – Fire protection engineering and consulting company responsible for code consulting, and design and specification of passive fire protection for drilling platform located in the Gulf of Mexico.
MAERSK – Fire Protection engineering and consulting company responsible for hydraulic calculations and overall water spray system design for FPSO to be located in the Peregrino oil field off the coast of Brazil.
ESCAL – Fire Protection engineering and consulting company responsible for the design of fire protection and safety systems, as well as the overall safety case study of the Castor Underground Gas Storage (processing platform and wellhead) project to be located in the South of Spain.
Bechtel – Risk Management Consulting company responsible for the execution of Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) and Safety Integrity Level studies for offshore platform located on the West Coast of Africa.
Mustang Wood Group - Fire protection engineering and consulting company on the Williams Gulf Star 1 – Topsides offshore platform project (Detailed Engineering) responsible for code consulting, water based fire protection systems specification and design (distribution system, hose reels, and deluge systems), special hazard systems specification and design review, fire & gas detection and notification systems specification, design and layout, fire-fighting equipment and life saving appliances specification and layout, egress system design, passive fire protection systems specification and design, and review of safety studies such as fire & explosion analysis (FEA) and escape, evacuation and rescue analysis (EERA).
